Senior Technical Lead (Data Analytics)

As the Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction for the design, development, and implementation of a complex data analytics and predictive system. This role requires a strong background in data science, software engineering, and project management, with a focus on integrating AI and machine learning capabilities.

Responsibilities:

o   Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team of data scientists and software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

o   Define the technical architecture and design of the data analytics platform, ensuring scalability, security, and performance, including data governance, data quality, and data lineage.

o   Oversee the development and implementation of machine learning models and ETL processes, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA) and security best practices.

o   Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of the system, integrating Al analytics and automation tools where applicable, including MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and automated machine learning (AutoML) platforms.

o   Manage project timelines, resources, and risks effectively, using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (Jira, Trello).

o   Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

o   Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.

o   Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders during system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), preparing technical documentation and conducting user training.

Qualifications:

o   Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science or a related field.

o   Minimum 8 years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, and software development.

o   Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data visualization.

o   Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.

o   Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data architecture best practices.

o   Experience with programming languages (Python, R) and tools (TensorFlow, Tableau).

o   Knowledge of data security and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA).

o   Experience with data governance practices and risk management.

o   Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

o   Preferred: Experience in AI applications for predictive systems and/or recommendation systems.
