Senior Purchasing Manager (Gold)

How You Will Do It:

• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans for gold products to support business objectives
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of the gold market, including product categories, pricing trends and industry development
• Monitor and approve shop’s gold products needs
• Review month-end reports in a regular basis, monitor product replenishment and inventory control
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations and audits to enhance purchasing efficiency and transparency
• Responsible for supplier negotiations, contract management, determine product pricing and risk mitigation
• Handle ad hoc duties as assigned

What We Look for:

• Minimum 12 years of purchasing experience in the jewellery industry, including at least 4 years in managerial role
• Mature and able to work independently
• Solid understanding of purchasing procedures and trade terms (e.g., Incoterms)
• Strong negotiation skills, supplier management capabilities and cost control expertise
• Able to work independently under pressure with a high sense of responsibility
• A team player, self-motivated, problem solving skills, good project management and analytical skills
• Proficient in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Words, Excel & PowerPoint is a MUST
• Occasional travel to Mainland China
