Description

Senior Motion Graphic Designer - a storyteller and visual communicator. You are the expert for great motion graphic design and have the ability to use it as a medium to communicate. You have a keen eye for details especially on motion animation and typography. From brainstorm, storyboarding to production, you will work closely with members of the video team. You must have a passion for creating videos that are engaging and impactful. And can work cross-functionally with various teams. In this role you will also need to demonstrate your professional skills and provide guidance to junior team members.

Role & Responsibilities

Assist video production including pre and post production

Create motion graphic design and visual effects in the release note videos

Develop creative concept and stories with video team

Design motion graphics for the application UI by following brand style guides

Lead each project from beginning to end and make sure the result has high quality standard

Ensure deliverables met the success criteria

Work closely with supervisors, producers, designers and scriptwriters to ensure work is on brief and quality

Work with designers and animators to bring value to users

Communicating motion graphic design standards and best practices across teams

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in multimedia design, motion design, visual communication, or equivalent experience

4+ years working in a visual design/ video production field, preferably in a variety of mediums such as mobile or desktop apps and/or broadcast media.

Experience in storytelling and motion graphics, highly desirable

Experience related to video production such as storyboarding, editing and post production

Great sense of typography and visual composition

Complete mastery of OS X and iOS

Expert level knowledge of Adobe suites of products such as After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop and Flash

Demonstrated capacity to work well in a team environment and individually

Highly professional, with the ability to deliver solid work on tight schedules

Proficient in spoken and written English is preferable
