Senior Merchandiser - Production (Woven)

What you'll be doing

• Production follow-up after SMS handover from the R&D department.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to maintain the bill of materials and tech pack during the production phase.
• Communicate information and any issues to all relevant internal parties as well as to local and overseas vendors.
• Track, request samples, revisions, and approvals throughout the production process.
• Assist in the garment fit process, ensuring that fit and styling direction are appropriate and consistent throughout production.
• Update weekly WIP reports.
• Support monitoring of production progress and issues with factories.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as required.

What we're looking for

• 5-6 years of production experience in the apparel industry.
• Understanding of fabric construction, fabric performance, and garment construction.
• Positive attitude and a keen willingness to learn new methods.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong follow-up and follow-through to make sure all tasks are taken to full completion.
• Desire and ability to work and excel in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
• Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Must possess strong communication skills.
• Able to speak, read, and write in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
• Natural tendency to be positive, creative, and curious.
