Senior Infrastructure Specialist (System Infrastructure)

Selected candidates will be responsible for their inhouse IT Infrastructure project.

Job Duty:

- To Provide technical support in a complicated infrastructure environment consists of different technology domains which includes, but not limited to, server virtualization, server OS, database, Storage Area Network, system monitoring, virtual desktop platform, server anti-virus, as well as backup and data protection

• Perform server OS and system installation and configuration, system patching, test and commissioning, as well as disaster recovery drill
• Prepare and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures (SOP) in related to supporting the infrastructure, servers, systems, applications, projects, inventory, regulatory requirements and compliance
• Perform troubleshooting and problem diagnosis, problem resolution, root cause analysis and identification, maintain and assure quality change control
• Perform system operation and administration, system and application performance and capacity monitoring, analysis and tuning
• Safeguard and maintain secure and hardened in servers and systems
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal users and external vendors in support of company initiatives
• Evaluate new technologies and products, prepare and conduct presentation as when required

Requirements:

- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline

• Minimum 3 years' relevant support and implementation experience in large-scale IT infrastructure or enterprise class companies
• Hands-on experience in implementation and support in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:

- EMC SAN storage, e.g. VNX and UNITY

- Cisco MDS SAN switches

- HCI server, e.g. EMC VxRail

- HPE Synergy blade servers

- VMware ESXi, NSX, vROPs, Horizon, VCF

- Microsoft Windows server 2016/2019

- Database server, e.g. Microsoft SQL server 2016/2019, Oracle database server in RAC and Data Guard, MongoDB

- Database encryption

- RedHat LINUX, Satellite, Ansible

- Veritas NetBackup, Veeam

- Microsoft System Centre SCOM, SCCM

- SolarWinds SAM, VMAN, SRM, DPA, APM

- Professional qualification on ITIL and PMP will be an advantage
