Senior Executive Assistant/ Executive Assistant, Executive Education (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: 533596) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above, with at least 5 passes in HKCEE including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, or min. Level 2 or equivalent in 5 subjects in HKDSE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, plus at least 2 to 5 years of experience in marketing or client servicing within a commercial or business environment. They should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua). Applicants should have practical experience in brand marketing, including organizing promotional events and executing digital marketing campaigns on social media platforms such as WeChat and LinkedIn. They should be proficient in eDM and database management, with a solid understanding of graphic design, video editing, and copywriting skills in both English and Chinese. Excellent time management and organizational skills, along with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail, are essential. Prior experience working in both agency and in-house marketing environments is considered a valuable asset. Applicants with less work experience will be considered for the position of Executive Assistant.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Executive Education Team;
- planning and executing marketing and student recruitment initiatives for the HKU Business School;
- maintaining databases, handling marketing tasks, and managing social media platforms;
- providing operational and logistics support for programme delivery and class coordination;
- liaising with external parties and vendors, and coordinating events;
- being adaptable to internal role reassignments to meet team objectives; and
- performing any other duties as assigned.
The appointee will be based at the Faculty’s Cyberport campus and may be required to work outside normal office hours and on weekends. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
