Job Description

Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant (at the rank of Clerk I/II) (Ref.: 533400) (to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal)

Applicants should possess a good Bachelor’s degree, with at least 2 years of full-time work experience preferably in tertiary institutions or in the education sector.  Non-degree holders with substantial relevant working experiences will also be considered. They must be a good team player; self-motivated with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; attentive to details; able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight deadlines and able to prioritise multi-tasks efficiently. Experience in student recruitment and event organisation would be an advantage. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and IT proficiency skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.  Knowledge of Putonghua would be an advantage. Those with less experience and/or lower qualification may be appointed as Clerk II.

The Faculty is expanding its undergraduate programme team. The appointee will provide a full spectrum of administrative support to the Faculty Office, with a primary focus on student recruitment and admissions. Key responsibilities include handling enquiries from prospective applicants, managing application workflows and offer processing, coordinating interview arrangements, and supporting outreach initiatives such as admissions talks, fairs, school visits, and summer programmes. The role also involves engaging  with prospective students and stakeholders, preparing marketing materials for digital and print platforms, and performing any other duties as assigned by the Faculty. The appointee may need to work outside regular office hours to support outreach activities. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
