Senior Engineer (Instrument & Control)

Key Tasks

• Implement and maintain the plant equipment, carry out corrective maintenance and execute preventive maintenance programme and schedule
• Implement and manage the plant Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Supervise fault diagnosis and recovery process during major system breakdown and service interruptions and initiate necessary contingency action plans in case of serious incidents
• Collaborate with contractors to resolve maintenance issues
• Assist in the development and review of operational manual and maintenance procedure
• Implement workplace safety policies and standards
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to minimise equipment downtime

Requirements

• Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• At least 6 years of experience in engineering or maintenance
• Electrician Grade A or above
• Knowledge of SCADA Network protocol, including Profinet, Profibus, Modbus
• Knowledge of industrial plant control system, RIO panels, PLC and SCADA system
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC S7 will be an advantage
• Experience with solid/liquid/food waste handling machineries will be an advantage
• Knowledge with biogas/towngas handling equipment will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in written English, Chinese and spoken Cantonese
