Senior Engineer (Electrical / Mechanical)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Engineer (Electrical / MVAC) to join our team at Long Yue Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership in the design, development, and maintenance of complex electrical and mechanical systems. Based in our Kwun Tong Kwun Tong District office, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Work under direction of project manager on selected projects design and development of innovative electrical/ MVAC solutions to meet the needs of our clients
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electrical/ MVAC components
3. Oversee the implementation and commissioning of electrical/ MVAC systems, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards
4. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
5. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our engineering operations
6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
7. Contribute to the overall growth and strategic direction of the engineering department

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the design, development, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems
3. Proven track record of leading successful engineering projects from concept to completion
4. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
5. Strong technical expertise, including proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD software, and project management tools
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
7. Commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments and continuously improving your technical skills
