Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Handle public enquiries and complaints;

  • Prepare press materials, and monthly newsletters for the works project;

  • Prepare presentation materials and attend public consultation forums;

  • Prepare papers and presentation materials for District Council meetings;

  • Liaise with the general public;

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly project brochures, fact sheets, newsletters, etc to the satisfaction of the Project Manager and Supervisor;

  • Prepare, arrange and obtain Project Manager and Supervisor acceptance on the relevant information to be uploaded to the project website in monthly basis;

  • Upload relevant information to the project website; and;

  • Handle construction video film production;

  • Assist the Project Manager and Supervisor in liaisons with members of District Councils;

  • Attend meetings of District Councils and Community Liaison Group(s) meetings

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in communication, public relations or related disciplines (candidate who does not meet the above minimum academic requirement may also be considered if candidate has extensive relevant experience in lieu;)

  • 5 years or above of hands-on experience in public affairs, community relations, complaint handling, corporate communications and crisis management;

  • Experience in community relations and dealing with District Council;

  • Well-versed in MS office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Chinese word processing;

  • Proficient in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese and proficient in written English and Chinese;

  • Good inter-personal skills
