Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the buying strategy and assortment planning for products in Hong Kong & Macau;
  • Drive and lead seasonal product selection aligning with Li Ning’s brand positioning and growth targets;
  • Manage inventory planning, demand forecasting, stock replenishment, and warehouse coordination to optimize stock levels and minimize excess;
  • Collaborate with Mainland China teams and local retail team to ensure seamless supply and distribution;
  • Use sales data and market insights to guide OTB management, promotions, and product lifecycle decisions;
  • Lead and mentor the buying team, instilling a results-driven and hands-on culture;
  • Frequent travel to Mainland China is required.


Requirements

  • 8–10 years of solid buying experience in sports or lifestyle brands; minimum 3 years in a managerial role;
  • Strong inventory management and strategic planning expertise;
  • Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin with strong communication skills across Mainland and Hong Kong teams;
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to Mainland China for business engagements;
  • Proven negotiation, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities;
  • Leadership proficiency with a pragmatic, hands-on approach in a fast-paced retail environment.
