Job Description

Responsibilities:

A) Sales and Promotion

  • Meet company sales and profit targets
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to create promotion plan and execute sales strategies, events and PR activities
  • Evaluate brand and product performance and adjust promotion plan based on sales reports


B) Merchandising and inventory control

  • Forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Monitor sales and inventory though pricing strategies
  • Develop merchandising strategies based on sales data and market trends
  • Optimize buying decision by comparing different vendors / suppliers price list and shipment performance
  • Set pricing strategy to maximize company profit

C) Brands Relationship

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendor or suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendor or suppliers to secure favourable deals and minimize risks
  • Communicate with vendor for shipment and product information
  • Provide product feedback and suggest suppliers for new products


D) Clerical Support

  • Prepare sales reports and assist in pricing mark-up / markdown plan
  • Maintain online sales system
  • Support new business initiatives and other ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Business Administration or related disciplines
  • 5 years’ buying experience in retail/FMCG, experience in tobacco or luxury industry is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Results-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese)
