Your Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to accelerate revenue growth and market presence by developing and executing high-impact sales strategies. Your deep industry network, proven ability to close high-value deals, and strategic vision will be critical to forging partnerships and advancing viAct’s mission in robotics and technology-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in robotics, construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas markets.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify high-potential opportunities and inform strategic planning.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in large corporations.
- Understand client challenges and deliver tailored robotics and technology solutions to meet their business goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with technical capabilities and market needs.
- Mentor junior business development team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Deal Negotiation & Closure
- Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle for large-scale, complex deals, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives.
- Lead high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong client relationships.
Market Insights & Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in sales processes.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (preferably overseas); an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong plus.
Experience:
Over 10 years of business development experience in B2B technology sales, with a focus on robotics, construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas industries.
- Established network of high-value contacts within construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas sectors.
- Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with large corporate clients.
Skills & Competencies:
Language Proficiency: Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.
Residency: Must have legal residency in Hong Kong with the right to work.
- Deep understanding of robotics and technology solutions, with the ability to articulate their value to diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.
