As we expand our global footprint, we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive our strategic initiatives in Vietnam and beyond, working remotely with a competitive compensation package.

Your Role

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will lead efforts to accelerate revenue growth and market presence by developing and executing high-impact sales strategies. Your deep industry network, proven ability to close high-value deals, and strategic vision will be critical to forging partnerships and advancing viAct’s mission in robotics and technology-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales Leadership

    • Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in robotics, construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas markets.
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify high-potential opportunities and inform strategic planning.
  • Client Relationship Management

    • Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in large corporations.
    • Understand client challenges and deliver tailored robotics and technology solutions to meet their business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align sales strategies with technical capabilities and market needs.
    • Mentor junior business development team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Deal Negotiation & Closure

    • Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle for large-scale, complex deals, ensuring alignment with client and company objectives.
    • Lead high-stakes contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Market Insights & Performance Optimization

    • Track and analyze sales performance metrics, driving continuous improvement in sales processes.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales approaches and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university (preferably overseas); an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong plus.

  • Experience:

    • Over 10 years of business development experience in B2B technology sales, with a focus on robotics, construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas industries.

    • Established network of high-value contacts within construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas sectors.
    • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals with large corporate clients.
  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Language Proficiency: Fluency in Cantonese and English is required.

    • Residency: Must have legal residency in Hong Kong with the right to work.

    • Deep understanding of robotics and technology solutions, with the ability to articulate their value to diverse stakeholders.
    • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Outstanding interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
    • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making.
