Job Description

Responsibilities:
1.Assist in deal origination, including pitch book and proposal preparation and maintain client/investors relationships; Perform industry and company research / comparable analysis as well as weekly capital market reports

2.Manage and handle the execution of ECM transactions including IPOs, placing and other ECM transactions; Coordinate with other investment banks and professional parties involved in IPOs and other corporate finance/ECM transactions; Communicate with regulatory authorities, including SFC and the Stock Exchange;

3.Actively contribute to due diligence, documentation review, NDR/road show arrangement and deal settlement, design and review offering structure, valuation and price setting on underwriting deals.

4.Maintain ECM-related database and keep proper ECM records for transactions, coordinate with internal parties including legal, compliance, markets and operation;

5.Prepare and facilitate internal project approval process to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, to ensure smooth and timely executions; and

6.Support seniors in various ad-hoc tasks and projects related to equity capital markets.

Requirements:
1.University degree or equivalent experience

2.2-6 years of Equity Capital Market experience within an investment bank

3.Good understanding and execution experience of ECM transactions with knowledge of ECM related listing rules and regulatory requirements

4.Actively monitor capital market movements and major capital market activities

5.Familiar with capital markets financial tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet and Dealogic

6.Good communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with other team members, professional parties, HKEx/SFC and clients/investors

7.Self-directed and highly motivated, ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines

8.Strong understanding in financial concepts, able to analyze businesses/industries and trends; Strong attention to detail, technical skills with clear and logical manner

9.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese

10.Willing to travel from time to time
