Seafreight Manager

We are seeking Seafreight Manager to join our team.

About the Role:

• Supervise and train ocean freight team members, including conducting regular departmental meetings and performance reviews
• Manage team to ensure smooth daily ocean freight forwarding operations: shipping, receiving, tracking
• Coordinate loading/unloading of cargo and ensure procedural compliance
• Resolve shipment issues and delays promptly
• Process optimization & improve working efficiency
• Prepare and manage budgets for HK Ocean team
• Analyze operational productivity and implement cost-saving measures when needed
• Ensure adherence to international maritime regulations and company policies
• Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines and service providers
• Maintain strong relationships with carriers, ports, and Service providers

• Support Business Development team with competitive products and managing Key customers

  
  

About You:

• Bachelor Degree or above
• Minimum 10 years relevant experience in freight forwarding industries, with at least 5 years’ experience in leading & managing a team in a similar sized company
• Familiar with worldwide market
• Able to work independently
• Good leadership and management skills and multi-tasker
• Excellent communication skills to overseas and customers
• Excellent written and spoken English and good Mandarin
• Proficiency in MS office applications
