Job Description

The Sales & Operations Officer is responsible for managing daily kitchen order processing, coordinating kitchen schedules, updating pricing, and handling administrative tasks. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective multitasking, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will assist in streamlining kitchen operations, support consistent product quality, and contribute to achieving company goals—while ensuring adherence to health, food safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and client management:

  • Work closely with the Manager to oversee daily operations of the food manufacturing facility, ensuring production quality and meeting sales target.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Manage customer interactions including inquiries, prepare quotations, after-sales service, sales tracking, etc.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support business development and growth initiatives.
  • Maintain a CRM system track leads, opportunities and client interactions


Operation coordination:

  • Coordinate with chefs and cross-functional teams to support production planning, costing, procurement, marketing and promotion, logistics, and kitchen operations.
  • Monitor production quality and cost effectiveness at the food manufacturing facility, while driving continuous improvement across production.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards while supporting timely product delivery and operational excellence.
  • Assist in planning and executing related events (e.g. community fair, cooking  demonstrations, seminars, workshops, etc.), including staffing, set up and equipment needs.


Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales and operations reports for management.
  • Analyze customer feedback and operational data to improve service quality.
  • Track KPIs and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve ad-hoc and critical issues swiftly to minimize disruption and maintain operational stability.

Requirements:

  • Diploma /Degree in Food production / Operation Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
  • Relevant experience in food manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good command of written and spoken Chinese and basic English
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Detail-minded, well-organized and sensitive to figures, self-motivated and willing to take up challenges.
