Position:Director in OEM Business Development

Position Overview:

As a Sales and Marketing lead in Business Development, Your role is critical in driving the company's growth and establishing its position in the market.  Your primary responsibility is to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base of the company. You will collaborate with respective departments to identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and achieve sales targets. Your role would involve overseeing product planning, development, and execution of merchandising strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development Strategy:

-          Develop and execute the OEM business development strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales objectives.

-          Identify new market segments, potential clients, and emerging trends to capitalize on business opportunities.

-          Analyse market trends, competitor analysis, and stay updated with industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.

2. Client Relationship Management:

-          Build and nurture strong relationships with OEM key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.

-          Oversee strategies to up-sell and cross-sell products or services to existing clients.

-          Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to drive business growth.

3. Sales Process and Pipeline Management:

-          Design and implement effective sales processes, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.

-          Guide and analyze sales metrics to assess performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.

-          Drive the sales pipeline, track opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasts to the management team.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

-          Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align business goals and strategies.

-          Communicate market feedback, customer insights, and industry trends to internal stakeholders.

-          Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance its visibility and network with potential clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

-          Proven 15 years of experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar business development role.

-          Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

-          Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

-          In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, market dynamics, and business development strategies.
