Research Professor, Research Office (Ref.: 25/53/RO/RP)


Duties:

The appointee will be responsible for (i) review and provide comments on proposals submitted by academic staff; (ii) identify and advise Schools on key research areas; (iii) support the submission and application process for research ethics; (iv) submit research funding applications for projects supported by both government and other community sources. (v) provide support to University staff in applying for government and industrial applied research grants and (vi) undertaking other duties as assigned by the University.


Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should have (i) A PhD degree in Business and Hospitality, Computer Sciences, Health Sciences, Humanities and Language, or Social Sciences; (ii) Substantial experience in research and publications at a local and/ or overseas university at Professor level (iii) A strong educational background with a good network in the local industry and educational sector; (iv) Excellent interpersonal skills as well as management skills.


Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
