Research Assistant (holding a functional title of AI Systems Engineer)

[Appointment period: 12 months]

The appointees will assist the project leader in one of the research projects below:

“AI-Powered Interactive Marketing and Customer Engagement Solution”

(Ref. No.: AiDLab/P1.1/R098), or

“Designer-led AI System for Fashion Accessory and Lifestyle Product Design”

(Ref. No.: AiDLab/P1.2/R101), or

“AI-Driven Pattern Making System for Fashion”

(Ref. No.: AiDLab/P1.3/R104)

Job Duties:

a) Design and optimize AI systems for real-world applications (e.g., LLM integration).

b) Develop and refine Prompt Engineering strategies.

c) Build Agent core modules (perception, planning, memory).

d) Integrate MCP protocols for system communication.

e) Collaborate with cross-functional teams on AI product lifecycle management.

f) Stay updated on AI trends (LLM, Agent, multimodal AI).

Qualifications Requirements:

a) Bachelor’s degree in AI/computer science with at least 1 year of experience.

b) Proficient in Python and LLM fine-tuning/optimization.

c) Expertise in Prompt Engineering and Agent frameworks (LangChain/LlamaIndex).

d) Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Linux environments.

e) Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
