Regional Ocean Procurement Manager - Asia to LATAM (55-65K Base)

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate with carriers to get competitive contract rates and implement long-term freight agreement.
• Manage service providers, local agents, etc. to procure competitive products and services for Asia-South America trade lane.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks in ocean freight procurement.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with shipping lines, carriers and vendors.
• Evaluate carrier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service levels.

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to ocean procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, with a focus on ocean freight.
• Strong procurement and pricing expertise at a regional level.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations.
• Able to travel frequently
