Quality Manager

Requirement

• Bachelor / Master in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in QA role on Small Domestic Appliance in a trading firm or PRC factory.
• Extensive product knowledge in rechargeable products.
• Experience with NPI processes, Kaizen concept.
• Experience in managing new vendor onboarding in respect of quality control aspects.
• Strong ability to work with regional and headquarter team for results.
• Effective communication, presentation and strong interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in dealing with customers such as Amazon, Walmart, Auchan, Carrefour and similar chain stores would be an definite advantage.

Job Description

• Improve the quality levels of the supply base ensuring consistent and high-quality standards.
• Define product specifications, acceptance criteria, test plan and control protocol.
• Conduct defect analysis, execute corrective and preventive actions.
• Follow up with factory audit program and drive factories to enhance quality control.
• Work closely with test labs, suppliers and customers on quality issues.
• Oversees safety and compliance matters, including liaison with laboratory on safety and quality standards, issuance of test reports etc.
• Provide technical support to vendors / merchandisers to understand the testing requirements.
• Contribute to product development.
• Willing to travel frequently.

5-days work per week, nice working environment in a dynamic field.
