2. 主要職責

• 負責中學理科或數學科教學，以普通話為主要授課語言；  

• 設計及開發教學材料，提升學生對學習的興趣與應用能力；  

• 提供課後輔導與學業支援，協助學生克服學習困難；  

• 參與科組會議、教學研討及學校相關活動；  

• 與家長溝通學生學習進展，建立積極合作關係。 

3. 職位要求

• 持有大學本科或以上學歷，主修理科或數學、教育或相關領域；  

• 具備教師資格認證（如PGDE或同等資歷）；  

• 能以標準普通話授課，並精通英語者優先； 

• 擁有至少三年中學理科或數學教學經驗，熟悉香港中學理科或數學課程（包括HKDSE）；  

• 具豐富學生輔導經驗，能針對學生學習差異提供個別化支援；  

• 富有責任心、耐心和創新教學精神，能協作開展課外活動。

Putonghua HKDSE Science Subjects or Mathematics Teacher (with pastoral care experience)

1. Introduction

Saint Too Bloom Academy is a new secondary school focused on innovation and entrepreneurship education. Designed from the ground up by passionate educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs, we aim to establish ourselves as one of the leading K-12 institutions in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area (GBA) in China, and Asia. While the world faces many ongoing challenges, we are excited about the prospect of reimagining education – especially within our Chinese context – and we invite you to join us in our efforts to innovate to prepare students for the challenges that lie ahead.

Since the opening of our primary school, Bloom KKCA Academy (www.bloom.edu.hk) in 2021, we have implemented innovative practices, including bilingual, interdisciplinary project-based learning and have formed strong partnerships with organizations across various sectors. In August 2024, we established our secondary school Saint Too Bloom Academy on a separate campus nearby. In preparation, we ran a pilot secondary program from 2018 to 2021, which served as an incubation space for our school design and integration of innovation in our curriculum and unique applied learning programs. We have successfully prepared our pilot year senior cohorts for their A Levels and IGCSEs, while our current junior cohorts are following our school-based Key Stage 3 curriculum.

We are seeking qualified and experienced teachers to join the effort to develop our new secondary program launched in August 2024.

2. Position Overview

• Responsible for teaching HKDSE science or mathematics, using Putonghua as the medium of instruction;  

• Design and develop teaching materials to enhance students' interest in learning and their application abilities;  

• Provide after-school pastoral care and academic support to help students overcome learning difficulties;  

• Participate in subject group meetings, teaching seminars, and relevant school activities;  

• Communicate with parents about students' learning progress and establish a positive collaborative relationship. 

3. Person Specification

• Bachelor or above in science or mathematics, education or related field;

• Valid teaching certification (such as PGDE or equivalent);

• Able to teach in standard Putonghua, with proficiency in English preferred;

• At least three years of secondary school science or mathematics teaching experience and be familiar with the Hong Kong secondary science or mathematics curriculum (including HKDSE);

• Have extensive experience in pastoral care and able to provide individualized support tailored to students' learning differences;

• Responsible, patient, and innovative in teaching, with the ability to collaborate on extracurricular activities.
