Purchasing Officer / Senior Purchasing Officer (Food)

About the role

Join the Purchasing team of Angliss Hong Kong Food Service Ltd, a leading food service provider in Hong Kong, as a Purchasing Officer or Senior Purchasing Officer. In this full-time role based in Kwai Tsing District, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring a wide range of food products and supplies to support the company's operations and meet the needs of its customers.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable, high-quality supply of goods
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with overseas and local suppliers to achieve the best commercial outcomes for the business
• Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify new sourcing opportunities
• Work closely with the internal departments to understand business requirements and priorities
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures
• Provide recommendations and insights to improve purchasing processes and strategies

What we're looking for

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the food service or retail industry
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimise purchasing decisions
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
