Project Manager (Flight Information and Airport Systems)

Job Overview:The job holder will be required to oversee the significant upgrade and revamp of our mission-critical Airport Flight Information Display System (FIDS) and related infrastructure, in alignment with the Third Runway development project, including the new Terminal 2 Expansion and Third Runway Concourse. The ideal candidate will participate in the rollout exercise and the subsequent system maintenance & support. Additionally, the Project Manager may oversee other projects in multimedia and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver all IT and engineering projects, including FIDS and multimedia display systems, on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans to monitor and track progress across the full project lifecycle.

Ensure all projects meet the SLAs during the maintenance phase.

Manage relationships with clients, partners, and third-party vendors effectively.

Assign project tasks to team members, monitor their performance, and provide guidance to ensure successful completion.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.

Track project performance, focusing on the successful achievement of short- and long-term goals.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 5 years in project management of ICT or engineering systems.

Proven track record of medium to large-scale project implementation, having completed at least one full project lifecycle.

Familiarity with infrastructure, messaging, multimedia, content management, and IoT system implementations.

Technical knowledge and experience with Linux, Windows, middleware, virtualization (VM), database, and data networks.

Experience in aviation or similar airport systems would be an advantage.

Self-motivated, responsible, with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and able to perform under pressure.

Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese
