Job Description
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Primary and Reception Teaching Assistant who is a committed individual of high caliber to join our Primary team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about delivering the highest quality of learning in a stimulating, happy, and safe environment. Experience of being a teaching assistant in the IPC curriculum is preferred.
KIS has commenced our annual recruitment cycle for the 2025-26 academic year and invites qualified, enthusiastic, and passionate teachers to register their interest in our school.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Reinforcing learning and implementing instructional programs in small groups or with individuals
- Preparation of class materials & teaching aids (structured lesson plans, course syllabus, materials are provided)
- Supporting and supervising students in their participation in activities
- Supporting behavior management of teacher
- Providing supervision of students in the morning before school, during recesses, lunch break and dismissal
- Provide comments and update parents on progress and improvement
Requirements:
- Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong
- Bachelor degree holder or related disciplines required
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Minimum of 2-year working experience in a school setting
- Commitment to best educational practices and on-going professional improvement
