Part-time Senior Research Assistant, School of Health Sciences(Ref: 25/90/HS/SRA

Duties:

The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in all research-related activities, including:

(a) conducting psychiatric assessments and consultations

(b) providing professional advice and information to participants

(c) reporting the mental conditions of the principal researcher

(d) liaising and communicating with healthcare professionals

(e) conducting crisis interventions, if needed

(f) performing any other duties as assigned by the project leader or his/her delegates

Appointment Criteria:

Applicants should have:

• have a recognised master degree in psychiatric nursing or an equivalent qualification

• be a registered psychiatric nurse with over 10 years of psychiatric nursing experience

• have a psychiatric nursing speciality qualification

• have experience in conducting mental assessments of individuals with early psychosis, depression, and anxiety disorders

• have a good track record of research and publication

• have a passion for interacting with youths who have mental distress

• have a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

• have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work independently

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
