Job Description
Korean International School is seeking a Part-time Mathematics teacher to join our high achieving, student-centered department. The successful candidate should be able to teach across all key stages.
Job roles and responsibilities:

Plan and develop exciting lessons to to teach mathematics concepts to students from Year 7 to 12

Conduct mathematics lessons in English according to the Korean Math curriculum. (Experience in teaching Korean Curriculum is not required.)

Requested to teach approx. 10 hours per week, Free to choose the day of the week.

Create inquiry-based classrooms that develop critical thinking skills, knowledge and a range of skills within an environment based on trust and respect

Report to the Full-time Math teachers and work closely with the Head of School and other colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the planned Mathematics curriculums

Create high quality curriculum materials that cater for students of all abilities and needs

To assist in curriculum development within the department

Integrate technology into pedagogy to follow school wide learning initiatives
Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics
-
PGCE/PGDE teaching qualification is a Plus
-
Minimum of two years’ math teaching experience
-
Ability to build rapport with students aged 11-18
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
