Job Description

Part time Research Assistant

Department of Chinese Literature

Project Title: Exploration of the rewriting of the new updated edition of Jin Yong's Novels by studying his Manuscripts (project reference number: UGC/FDSB/H12/24)

 

Responsibilities

The appointees are expected to:

  • have experience in processing large amounts of documents and organizing files;
  • have a high degree of induction and analysis skills, as well as good Chinese writing and communication skills;
  • have good Chinese and English language skills and be able to engage in translation work;
  • like reading and be sensitive to language and characters.

 

Requirements

Applicants should possess:

  • A bachelor degree or above in Humanities, Social Sciences;
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English;
  • At least three years of work experience related to text work; and
  • Knowledge of Jinyong Novels will be an advantage.
