We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the School of Science and Technology:
Part-time Lecturers [2025 Autumn Term] (S&T) (Ref: 25001VU)
Course Code Course Title
ENGG 8008SEF Green and Sustainable Energy for Building
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee(s) will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Undertaking the delivery of courses in related disciplines at degree level;
- Marking of assignments (oral presentation and progress assessment);
- Providing consultation to students and performing other teaching-related and administrative duties; and
- Assisting in course planning and development as well as participating in School / University activities.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A Master’s degree or above in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
- Holder of “Certified Decarbonization Professional” by ASHRAE;
- Registered Professional Engineer in Building Services/ Mechanical/ Electrical Discipline are preferred;
- Relevant teaching / professional experience is preferred; and
- Proficiency in both Chinese and English.
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
Successful candidate(s) will be appointed on a temporary part-time contract. Benefits will be provided in accordance with the statutory provisions.
