Part-time Lecturer (Music Production)

Duties:

• Teach modules Higher Diploma in Music Production for Creative Industries, such as:

  • Popular Instrumental Applications / Contemporary Performance
  • Stage Management / Stage Sound Design and Engineering / Stage Lighting Design
  • Music Studio Production / Music Technology for Media / Recording and Mixing Audio Production / Studio Construction and Operation
  • Creativity and Composition / Music Theory
  • Music in World Cultures / Contemporary Music Applications
  • Music and Media Arts
  • Start-ups in The Business World
• Perform other academic and administrative duties as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in an appropriate discipline; with a Master’s Degree and/or Professional Qualification are/is preferred
• At least 2 years’ relevant working experience; teaching experience is preferred
• Relevant industrial experience / qualifications are preferred for teaching related modules

• For related course(s), preference will be given to candidates with knowledge / experience as follows:

  • Participation in international music grading exams, such as ABRSM, Trinity, RSL, or any relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of DAW software including Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Ableton Live X, or above versions
  • Knowledge of Audio Programming software (Max/MSP)
