Rare & Unique is the Hong Kong arm of Aureon Group, a UK-based luxury consignment and sourcing company specialising in rare and hard-to-find luxury items. We operate as a small, dynamic team focused primarily on B2B clients across the globe. Our Hong Kong office plays a critical role in sourcing, authentication, shipping, logistics, and order fulfilment.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to join our Hong Kong office. This is a hands-on logistics and admin role with a strong focus on shipping, packing, and customs documentation. You’ll be responsible for handling inbound and outbound DHL shipments, completing all relevant import/export paperwork, packing luxury orders to a high standard, and supporting the team with inventory, photography, and daily operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all inbound and outbound DHL shipping, including booking, tracking, and resolving delivery issues
• Carefully pack outbound orders, ensuring presentation meets luxury standards
• Prepare and manage import/export documentation, including commercial invoices and customs declarations
• Liaise with couriers and customs agents to coordinate international shipments and clearances
• Maintain accurate shipping logs and internal documentation
• Perform quality control checks on inbound items to ensure condition and authenticity standards are met
• Photograph new stock for internal systems and external use
• Assist with stock intake, inventory updates, and tracking across platforms
• Support general administrative and operational tasks, including supplier communications and data entry
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, operations, or admin support (international shipping experience preferred)
• Confident using DHL systems and familiar with customs paperwork and procedures
• Excellent attention to detail, especially in packing, documentation, and record-keeping
• Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and basic office software
• Comfortable using a camera or smartphone for clean, clear product photography
• Able to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Cantonese and/or Mandarin a plus
• Must be available to work 2pm – 10pm, Monday to Friday, from the office in Tsim Sha Tsui
