Operation Officer

Responsibilities:

- Communicate with charterers, vessel management companies and brokers and follow up daily business operations including vessel movement.

- Assist chartering managers to negotiate C/P terms with Charterers.

- Calculate and review each hire of vessels and issue invoices to charterers based on C/P.

- Follow up hire payments from charterers.

- Communicate with P&I Clubs and insurance companies and follow up claims, if any .

- Review vessel management related expenses including budget and non-budget expenses reported by vessel management companies.

- Collect, sort and analyze market information/data.

Requirements:

- University graduate majoring in maritime transport management or related field.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in marine transportation business operation.

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Chinese word processing.

- Initiative, high sense of responsibility, well organized and multi-tasking.

- Able to work independently and under pressure to meet tight schedule.

- Good command of spoken & written English and Mandarin.
