Job Description

The applicant must possess

  1. a recognized degree, preferably in Occupational Safety and Health / construction safety / construction management or other related disciplines;
  2. possession of a Registered Safety Officer (RSO) qualification in Labour Department, HKSAR;
  3. a minimum of 3 years' post-registration work experience in construction related industries;
  4. qualification of first aider would be an advantage.
  5. experience with implementing safety management system and smart site safety system (4S);
  6. good understanding of generative AI and data processing skills is preferred; and
  7. excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with ability to engage effectively with various internal and external stakeholders;
  8. good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include

  1. to support the daily operation of the Safety Training Centre (STC);
  2. to manage and / or assist the administration of safety training facilities, equipment and venue including daily operation and planning;
  3. to plan, organise and conduct safety training, demonstrations, tuition and follow-up;
  4. to assist the development of STC as a Centre of Excellence in the safety stream and promote STC as an information centre for work safety in construction industry;
  5. to assist in designing, implementing and organising group tours, seminars and other publicity events on on-going basis; and
  6. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
