About the Role
At Eastwise we provide innovative sourcing & procurement services through trusted global partnerships. Enhancing operational efficiency, we are a multicultural team of 40 people across Europe, Asia and North Africa: France, China & Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, India, Tunisia and Singapore.
We are seeking a dynamic Merchandising Manager to join our team! You will lead and develop our team of Merchandisers, driving performance and guiding key projects, You will be responsible for setting KPIs, improving internal processes, and overseeing client satisfaction.
The job requires regular presence to our Shenzhen Office, next to Futian Station (3 to 4 days per week)
Key Responsibilities
. Team Management: Lead and empower the Merchandising team, setting performance targets and conducting training on advanced negotiation skills
. Project Management: Identify and resolve project roadblocks while ensuring efficient internal processes, prepare consolidated reports for the Sourcing Director, analyzing market trends to inform sourcing strategies
. Supplier Management: Manage strategic supplier relationships and oversee complex negotiations on pricing, terms, and quality
. Customer Relationship: Drive commercial performance and enhance client satisfaction through proactive improvement plans
. Expertise: Develop expertise in key categories for the company and act as an internal reference for key operational decisions
Profile
. Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, international trading or merchandising, with European or US company
. Proven leadership experience managing merchandisers team
. Bachelor’s degree in English, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
. Language: Fluent in English and Mandarin, both written and speaking

. Operational Thinking: Align team efforts with company goals, overseeing multiple projects
. Leadership: Inspire, guide, and develop Senior Merchandisers and Merchandisers
. Performance Monitoring: Track and improve team and supplier performance
. Decision-Making: Make informed decisions and share it clearly with teams
. Negotiation: Strong negotiation and communication skills with a focus on relationship management
. Client-Centric Approach: Understand and anticipate client needs to deliver exceptional results.
