Merchandising Executive (Apparel Industry)

We are looking for merchandising talents with apparel background joining our TAL family. The incumbent shall provide one-stop merchandising services to designated customers.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily communicate with partnering departments, factories and customers on all merchandising issues from product development to bulk shipment
• Perform on-going material sourcing & product development for our customers by working with partnering departments
• Consolidate sales data for team’s sales offer preparation
• Provide costings for responsible product categories and perform order checking
• Partner with factories’ customer services team to prepare bulk order and provide after-sales services when necessary
• Inspect production and handle quality control to ensure on-time delivery
• Properly balance the interests of customers and plants throughout the development and production process

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in Fashion & Textile
• 2-3 years of working experience in merchandising, preferably in apparel & garment industry
• Sound knowledge in woven products
• Experience in fabric souring and product development if preferred
• Experience in Pants/Shirt woven product
• Good team player with positive attitude
• Able to work under pressure and meet dead-lines
• Good PC knowledge in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Willing to travel

(Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Executive.)
