Job Description

Scope : Menswear, Bags, Kids & e-com capsule

1/ Collaborative Strategy

- Study the offering & evolution of competitors (product, pricing, marketing),

- Concept development: propose 1-3 seasonal merchandising concepts that align with brand strategy & APAC markets demands (ex CNY capsule, Travel dry..)

- Product range: create and present seasonal merchandising plan, align with brand image & market needs.

- Clothes, Bags & Accessories


2/Data consolidation & analysis

- Gather & consolidate the APAC raw datas by season,

-  Produce seasonal analysis APAC markets,

- Overview sales analysis, forecast & purchase orders of your categories

- Support & contribute to consolidate reports of the region/world


 3/ Collection Planning : menswear, bags, kids & ecom capsule

- Collaborate closely with global offer to improve global assortment on menswear & bags offer, and establish ‘’global core offer’’ & define ‘’APAC core offer’’,

- Deliver Asia product brief and line plans to studio & development teams by consolidating products market demands,

- Join the samples reviews to ensure business needs are met and marketing plan is cohesive with collection,

- Track and report on the product KPI’s: collection frame, margin, retail prices, sales product performance, and forecast to optimize the assortments or strategies as necessary,

- Collaborate with markets on specific programs adhoc (SMU, Collab…)


4/Participate and contribute to Key Meetings

- Present merchandising strategy from your category

-Present seasonal products at key meetings (Preview…)

- Participate & contribute weekly merchandising team, weekly collection team & Merchandising Monthly meeting

- Joining margin review

- Participate & contribute to collab/BIS meetings with global team

5/ Teamwork

- Collaborate with global teams & Asian merchandising buyers, with special focus on China

- Collaborate with a spirit of support & unity.


SOFT & HARD SKILLS REQUIRED

HARD SKILLS:

·         Languages: Proficient in English; French is highly desirable. Knowledge of Chinese or Japanese is considered an asset.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Systems Expertise: Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools and TM1 for data analysis and planning.
