Mandarin Chinese Teacher

About the role

Tutorserviceshk' is seeking an experienced Mandarin Chinese Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis in the Causeway Bay Wan Chai District. In this role, you will be responsible for providing engaging and effective Mandarin language instruction to young learners, helping them develop their language skills and cultural understanding.

What you'll be doing

1. Planning and delivering Mandarin lessons tailored to the needs and abilities of individual students
2. Creating interactive and stimulating learning activities to foster language development
3. Assessing student progress and providing regular feedback to students and their families
4. Collaborating with the team to continuously improve the curriculum and teaching methods
5. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance
6. Promoting the Chinese language and culture in a positive and inspiring manner

What we're looking for

1. Native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
2. Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Mandarin to young learners, preferably in a tutoring or educational setting
3. Strong pedagogical skills, including the ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students and their families
5. Creativity and flexibility to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
6. A genuine passion for language education and supporting the holistic development of young learners
