Job Description
Our client, a HKSAR statutory body which provides different housing plans. We are hiring Labour Relations Officer (LRO) to help our client to maintain HR operations in assigned project sites.
Responsibility:
- Check and verify the proper operation of the Access Control and Recording System;
- Conduct checking of the records submitted by contractors;
- Prepare and submit regular reports to the department on the payment of the wages and MPF contribution and the daily records of ACRS based on the Wage Books prepared by contractors;
- Conduct random inspection on site to verify the identity of workers and to promote effective communication with workers;
- Be responsible for receiving complaints from workers on any matters relating to the payment of wages and other employment conditions;
- Check the validity of the complaints based on the compiled records;
- Provide all necessary assistance to the workers for referring the complaint cases to the Labour Department if necessary and work in collaboration with the Labour Department to investigate and verify the validity of the complaints; and
- Alert the Department Representative of anomalies and to refer the same to the contractor for investigation and appropriate follow-up actions.
Requirements:
A combination of results in five subjects including Chinese Language and English Language attained in Level 2 or above in HKDSE, or equivalent ("Attained" in Applied Learning (ApL) subjects (subject to a maximum of two ApL subjects) and Grade C in Other Language subjects are considered as level 2 result) OR
A combination of result in five subjects including Chinese, English (Syllabus B) attained at Level 2 /Grade ‘E’ or above in the HKCEE, or equivalent;
- Good knowledge and experience of the operation and practices of the construction industry is preferable;
2 years’ full-time working experience on personnel management or human resources related duties or Post-secondary qualification in Human Resources or Personnel Management is preferable;
- Well versed in Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and relevant labour legislation;
- Good command of both oral and written English and Chinese; and
- Hands on experience in using MS office applications and Chinese word processing
- Immediate available is highly preferred
- Welcome to fresh graduate
