Role Description

Responsible for sales activities in assigned therapeutic area. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain excellent professional relationships with the key opinion leaders, medical and pharmaceutical professionals with the objective of promoting responsible products.

  • Use marketing materials and resources effectively for product promotion

  • Share market trends and intelligence with Management, Sales Manager and the team.

  • Cultivate constructive relationship and teamwork with team members to enhance synergy within the team.

  • Make effective application of the data in all related sales activities and ensure good maintenance of records.

  • Well planning and organizational skill in daily sales operation.

  • Able and willing to share the relationship, skill and experience

  • Ensure timely and effective implementation of sales and marketing strategies, in turn achieve sales target.

  • Actively participate company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings.

  • Familiarize with PSR system, ensure that sufficient call reports per working day are entered.

  • Perform any lawful and reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor or Management.

  • Guide & develop assigned sales team including but not limited to field coaching, role play, understanding training needs to make best use of the individual’s strengths.

  • Keep track and report to Manager on individual team member’s performance, conduct and discipline regularly and to take appropriate actions.

  • Assist Manager in allocation of manpower and manage assigned sales team

  • Possess good knowledge of the performance, potential and characteristics of own territory to facilitate planning and development of business.

  • Work closely with Sales Manager and Portfolio Managers to plan and organize CME meetings, symposium, and other promotional activities to generate product awareness, interests and detailing opportunities of targeted customers.

  • Recommend suitable and high return sponsorships to Sales Manager and Portfolio Managers.

Skills

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills

  • Proficiency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua is a must

  • Energetic and open-minded

  • Proficient in MS Office applications

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, science related discipline is preferred

  • Minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical sales experience
