About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend systems while ensuring scalability, security, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to continuous improvement in our development processes.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain backend services with best coding practices, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirement Refinement: Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.
Code Quality & Collaboration: Collaborate with technical leads to review pull requests, maintain code quality, and integrate deliverables with core systems.
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide 3rd-tier support to the sustainment team, troubleshoot critical issues, and offer technical advisories.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to CI/CD tools, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in full-cycle software development.
Strong hands-on experience with Java or NodeJS.
Expertise in AWS cloud technologies (e.g., Lambda, ECS, API Gateway) and databases (AuroraDB, DynamoDB, MariaDB).
Experience in scalability, security, and performance optimization.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture, Data Orchestration, and Integration design patterns.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Agile (Scrum) methodologies, and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of serverless architectures.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus).
