Java Developer - DevOps (Insurtech)

Role Summary

As a Java + DevOps Developer, you will combine your expertise in Java (Spring Boot) with hands-on DevOps practices, working onsite to deliver scalable applications and streamline our deployment pipelines. You’ll collaborate with talented peers and gain valuable exposure to cloud platforms, leaving your mark with meaningful, resilient technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance Java-based applications, utilizing frameworks like Spring Boot in an enterprise environment
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Work with WebSphere application servers and contribute to the modernization of our platforms
• Leverage cloud technologies (preferably Azure, but also GCP/AWS) to drive scalability, automation, and operational excellence
• Identify challenges, propose solutions, and continually improve both the application and delivery process

Requirements

• 3-6 years of hands-on Java development experience, ideally with Spring Boot and enterprise frameworks
• Familiarity with WebSphere Application Server or similar environments
• Practical DevOps experience, with exposure to Azure or other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP also considered)
• Willingness to work onsite with a collaborative, growth-oriented team
• Eagerness to learn, tackle challenges, and contribute to projects that matter
