Japanese Speaking Senior Merchandiser - Woven Apparel

Responsibilities:

• Daily merchandising operations such as sourcing, costing negotiations, samples development and bulk production following ups before shipments
• Work closely with Japanese clients for samples
• Ensure on time sample delivery and sample presentation to the clients
• Handle ad hoc projects assigned by the management

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Textile & Clothing or related disciplines
• Min. 5 years of merchandising experience in woven denim or casual wears
• Proficient in spoken and written Japanese (JLPT N2 or above level), English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
• Ability to analyze situations and suggest solutions
• Detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Business trips to Japan, PRC and ASEAN countries are required
