IT Infrastructure Officer (Ref: JD_ ITIO_20250613)

Responsibilities:

• Network Design: Creating network architecture that meets the organization's needs.

• Maintenance: Schedule regular checks and updates for all systems.

• Security: Ensuring network security through firewalls, encryption, and other measures.

• Monitoring: Continuously monitoring network performance and making improvements. Ensure a high-speed, reliable internet connection.

• Operating Systems: Ensure all devices have the latest operating system (OS) installed.

• Productivity Software: Install necessary software, such as Microsoft Office and project management tools.

• Security Software: Antivirus, anti-malware, and firewall solutions.

• Servers: Depending on your needs, you might require on-premises servers or cloud services.

• Computers and Workstations: Ensure all employees have the necessary hardware.

• Peripherals: Printers, scanners, and other necessary devices.

• Backup Solutions: Implement regular backup protocols to prevent data loss.

• Asset Management: Keep an inventory of all IT assets.

• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, etc.), hardware, and software.

• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve network issues.

• Communication: Excellent Customer Service skills to work with team members and stakeholders.

• Continuous Learning: Staying updated with the latest technologies and trends.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in a 3rd line support role within a corporate environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of fault resolution.
• Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualised server platform.
• Familiar with tools and environments such as AD, Azure, M365, and AWS.
• Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and strong sense of customer service.
• Willingness to work on on-call rota (including evenings and weekends when necessary).
