We are looking for a highly technical, hands-on IT Infrastructure DevOps Manager to assume full ownership of our hybrid-cloud ecosystem. You will act as both architect and principal implementer, accountable for the design, execution, and daily management of our critical infrastructure. Within our compact team, you will be the go-to expert, personally troubleshooting complex challenges and advancing our systems’ evolution. Key Responsibilities:

Hands-on Infrastructure Management:

• Design, deploy, manage, and troubleshoot on-premises infrastructure, including Lenovo servers and VMware vSphere virtualization.
• Assume full responsibility for Equinix data center rack, overseeing hardware, networking, and incident response.
• Configure, optimize, and maintain network backbone components such as Fortinet firewalls and Cisco routers/switches.
• Implement and oversee enterprise backup and disaster recovery solutions (Tape, NAS) with regular drills to ensure data integrity.
• Provide robust infrastructure support for critical business systems, including SAP and HANA databases, including performance tuning and root cause analysis.

Cloud & DevOps Practice:

• Lead architecture and hands-on administration of AWS production environments using services such as EC2, RDS, S3, KMS, and VPC.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines collaboratively with developers to enhance the software delivery lifecycle.
• Create automation scripts in PowerShell, Python, and Bash to reduce manual tasks in both Windows and Linux systems.

Technical Leadership & Problem Solving:

• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents, directing swift resolution efforts.
• Proactively identify system bottlenecks, assess risks, and implement improvements.
• Deploy and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure full system visibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 8+ years of substantial hands-on experience in IT infrastructure with demonstrated ability to solve complex issues independently in small teams.
• Expert in administering Microsoft Windows Server and Linux (with strong experience in at least two major distributions such as Red Hat, Ubuntu, or SUSE).
• Extensive practical experience managing VMware vSphere and configuring Fortinet firewalls and Cisco networking equipment.
• Deep, hands-on AWS cloud expertise with proven experience managing production workloads; AWS Professional certification is a plus.
• Proficient in DevOps tools, including CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins or GitLab CI, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell for Windows automation, as well as Bash and Python for Linux environments.
• Experience supporting infrastructure for enterprise applications such as SAP and HANA databases is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates ownership mentality, self-motivation, and calm effectiveness under pressure.
