Job Description

IMS is a premier international school with four campuses across Hong Kong Island and over 150 employees.  We are looking for a resourceful and customer oriented individual to support our IT Operations. Based in our Stanley campus, the candidate will need to demonstrate good problem solving skills, be an effective communicator and a willingness to work proactively and independently in a school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in troubleshooting system, network and server issues
  • Manage and support the school Windows and Linux Servers, local network, inter-campuses network, as well as the wireless networking
  • Perform day-to-day PC hardware and software support for both Windows and Apple
  • operating systems, including hardware and software installation, support and problem diagnosis
  • Provide usage support for off-the-shelf software/ systems like Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, School Information System and other Application Systems
  • Support and operate various audio/visual systems for school events (including those outside normal school hours)
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by IT Manager

Qualification Requirements:

  • Diploma or above in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in server system and/ or networking
  • Knowledge of network technologies including TCP/IP, VLAN and VPN are essential
  • Hands-on experience in MS Windows Server, Active Directory, Web Servers, Linux Servers are required
  • Knowledge of network product including Router, Firewall and Switch are required
  • Experience in software/ systems support in the area of Information System like ERP, Sales, Purchasing or Accounting will be an advantage
  • Ability to work independently, willing to learn and with good communication skills (English, Mandarin and Cantonese)
