Key elements of the job:

1. Refine IT Operations and health-check reports for clarity and insights;
2. Document backup processes (Windows, RHEL, CentOS) with dependency diagrams;
3. Develop a virtual machine inventory across 30+ VMware/Hyper-V hosts;
4. Optimize firewall configurations with a cleanup plan for enhanced security

The ideal candidate:

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
2. Familiarity with system administration, including Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), or CentOS environments;
3. Interest in cybersecurity, infrastructure management, and process optimization;
4. Strong analytical skills for documenting processes, creating dependency diagrams, and conducting firewall configuration reviews;
5. Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
