Industrial Designer (Station in Guangzhou)

INDUSTRIAL DESIGNER

The Industrial Design candidate will be responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of products to support marketing and Project Engineers.

• Provide design support to Marketing and Engineering Departments.

• Preparation and presentation of 3D CAD renderings for marketing and sales.

• Assist in design documentation maintenance.

• Ability to meet deadlines on time

• Ability to effectively communicate design between Hongkong and China office.

• Ability to create new innovative product designs and development from concept realization to final prototype construction.

Job Requirements

• Proficiency in 3D CAD design software (Rhino, UG, Solidworks or Pro E)

• Computer skills and ability to use Adobe Photoshop, Adobe lllustrator, MS Office

• Well knowledge of Photo realistic renderings and animation (Keyshot)

• Ability to make quick freehand sketches.

• Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes.

• Flexible schedule and work hours

• Station in Guangzhou

• Overseas Travel when required

Qualification

• Degree / Diploma in Industrial design or equivalent

• Effectively read, write, and verbally communicate in English is a must as well as mandarin.

• Minimum 3 years experience in a product design related field working in Household & Electrical Appliance design.

• Able to follow up design projects from idea to production.

• Experience in working with Engineering & Marketing teams

• Be exceptionally creative.

• Have the ability to work independently and well as part of a team.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrives in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
