Full Time or Part Time English Writing Teacher

Full Time or Part Time Teaching Position at Learning Center in CWB/Kowloon

Are you passionate about the education of Hong Kong's young learners? The Open Classroom's (www.theopenclassroom.com.hk) mission as an extracurricular English learning centre is to equip students with the knowledge and skills to apply classroom learning into real world context with in-house curricula. The main center is located in Causeway Bay and another new location just opened in Mong Kok.

Job Description:

- Conduct lessons on English writing, reading comprehension, grammar, and presentation for students from G1-9

- Develop new teaching material for our curricula

- Regularly communicate directly with parents on student progress

- Maintain discipline in a classroom setting (small class size)

- Manage administrative duties, such as correspondence, marketing, class scheduling and centre operations

Applicant Requirements:

- Fluency in English

- A bachelor's degree and/or teaching qualification (e.g. TEFL, CELTA, CertTESOL)

- Prior experience teaching preferred especially in English writing

- Proficiency in computer use (e.g. Microsoft Office)

- Able to work on Saturdays
