About Us
Our background: CYC is a technology company formed by bike and MTB enthusiasts. We have an ambitious vision to reinvent electric bike systems. Our team includes young and talented mechanical engineers, industrial designers, programmers, and operational staff. Our offices are located in Fo Tan and Science Park (HKSTP). We are an awardee of multiple international and local start-up competitions and are invested by previous DJI investors, including Brizan Capital, Hong Kong X technology fund (backed by Sequoia Capital) and CWB venture capital.
About our company: We have started our electric bike system development 10 years ago, and already developed several popular electric mountain bike motor systems which were exported to Europe and USA. We are now a mechatronic company focusing on hardware and software development and are developing electric bike motor drive systems, precision gearboxes, controller systems, sensors systems, electric bike frames, and other mobility devices. Currently, we have distributors in over 20 countries all over the world and need more talents in the industry.

Responsibilities:
1. Financial Strategy Planning
• Develop the company's financial strategy to ensure alignment with overall corporate objectives and provide financial support for long-term growth.
• Participate in major corporate decisions, offering financial analysis and recommendations to ensure the scientific and rational nature of decision-making.
2. Financial Management and Supervision
• Take full responsibility for the company's financial management, including financial statement preparation, budget management, cost control, and cash flow management.
• Establish and improve the company's financial management systems and processes to ensure standardization and efficiency in financial operations.
• Oversee the work of the finance department to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and to mitigate financial risks.
3. IPO Preparation and Management
• Lead the entire financial process of the IPO, including but not limited to IPO financial compliance audits, drafting the financial section of the prospectus, and coordinating with sponsors, lawyers, and auditors.
• Establish financial control systems in compliance with the Hong Kong Listing Rules and Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS).
• Ensure the company's financial condition meets IPO requirements and assist in completing all related financial tasks during the listing process.
• Oversee annual audits and interim reports to ensure compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange's Listing Rules and the Securities and Futures Ordinance disclosure requirements.
• Optimize capital structure, lead cash flow management and financing strategies, and support post-IPO investor relations management.
• Build a post-IPO finance team structure and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for financial processes.
4. Tax Planning and Compliance
• Develop tax planning strategies to reasonably reduce the company's tax burden while ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Monitor changes in tax policies and adjust tax strategies in a timely manner to mitigate tax risks.
5. Team Management and Development
• Lead and manage the finance team, set team goals, assign tasks, provide training and guidance, and enhance overall team performance.
• Cultivate and recruit outstanding financial talent, optimize team structure, and improve team cohesion and effectiveness.
6. Other Tasks
• Complete other relevant tasks assigned by senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Education
• Bachelor's degree or above in finance, accounting, or a related field.
2. Professional Certifications
• Membership in the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants or equivalent qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA).
• Preference given to candidates with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification in Mainland China (CICPA).
3. Work Experience
• At least 5 years of financial management experience in a publicly listed company (or 8 years of experience at the Big Four), with a thorough understanding of the financial operations and management processes of publicly listed companies.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in guiding companies through the IPO process, including knowledge of financial requirements and regulations.
• Experience working in multinational companies is a plus.
4. Language Skills
• Proficient in using English as a working language, with strong reading, writing, and communication skills in English.
