Job Description

Serve as the company's growth catalyst by owning end-to-end business development, eCommerce and digital marketing operations, and any other initiatives critical to company success. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution across all business areas, adapting dynamically to organizational needs. This hybrid role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution across sales channels, partnerships, and brand development while managing all digital customer touchpoints – while handling any critical business need that arises.

Key Responsibilities:

1. eCommerce & Digital Marketing Leadership

The ideal candidate will develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies, leverage data analytics to drive campaign success, and stay ahead of industry trends to ensure our marketing efforts are innovative and effective. This role is pivotal in increasing our online visibility, drive brand awareness, attracting potential customers, and fostering loyalty among our existing customer base.

  • E-commerce Launches: Manage new collection launches on the e-commerce website

  • Digital Ads: Drive and execute profitable digital omni-channel ad strategies and online campaigns (Meta, Google, Red Note, etc)

  • Website Activities: Execute business-as-usual (BAU) activities on the website and manage the website

  • Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing, and influencer marketing campaigns

  • PR/Influencer/Email Marketing Strategies: Manage, drive, and execute effective email marketing strategies and PR/influencer partnerships

  • Brand Strategy: Develop and manage online brand strategies, and enhance brand awareness through digital marketing strategies

  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze website and social media metrics to measure the success of marketing efforts

  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in digital marketing

  • Reporting: Track and report on marketing performance and provide regular updates on marketing performance and recommend changes as needed

  • Training: Mentor teams while personally executing critical tasks, "Teach and do" – trains teams while executing personally

  • Platform Management: Oversee Shopify/eCommerce operations (listings, pricing, UX) and conduct weekly performance reviews (conversion rates, AOV, retention)

2. Strategic Business Development (Online & Offline)

  • Develop/execute growth plans for new markets, partnerships, and sales channels (B2B/B2C)

  • Focus on new revenue streams while supporting sales on existing accounts

  • Prospect, negotiate, and close deals with distributors, clients, and partners

  • Create scalable playbooks for recurring revenue streams

  • Improve current sales and procurement processes

  • Directly assist GM/AGM/Operations Manager in developing all business areas online and offline

  • Omnibus Duty: Address any company priority - from process optimization to special projects

  • Examples:

o    Resolve operational bottlenecks

o    Assist leadership with urgent operational needs

o    Cover gaps in other departments as required on rotation, which will serve to understand the functions and needs of all departments

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field may be required

  • Proven experience working in digital marketing or in a similar role

  • Sound knowledge of digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and SEO best practices

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Effective communication and customer service skills

  • Familiarity with AI-driven marketing platforms, voice search optimization techniques, and advanced data analytics tools is a plus

  • Proficiency across a variety of platforms and in using contemporary digital marketing techniques on those platforms eg. Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, CRM (Salesforce/HubSpot)
